Inauguration of English website for trade and investment relation between Viet Nam and Nordic companies

In March 8, 2021, the English website https://en.vietnordic.com was launched by the Nordic-based Vietnam Trade Office Region in collaboration with Vietnam Embassies in Sweden and Norway. This website is aimed at providing update information to the Nordic companies about business and investment environment in Vietnam as well as business opportunities created by the European Union – Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA). The website also contains database of Vietnamese companies and products, categorized in individual sector for easy access by interested Nordic companies and allows Vietnamese companies to advertised themselves free of charge. The website is expected to serve as an important channel of information for the Nordic businesses which want to enrich their knowledge about the business and investment environment of Viet Nam and for Viet Nam businesses to have better access to the Nordic market. It is hoped that through this channel, new partnership can be established between businesses of Vietnam and the Nordic countries.
The website's launch is a significant event this year when Vietnam and Norway will celebrate the 50th year of establishing diplomatic relation between the two countries (1971 – 2021). It is an honour for the Embassy of Vietnam in Norway to introduce this website to our esteemed readers./.
